Welcome to the iPSYCHS Healing Column

This blog is written at the intersection of psychology, ancestral knowing, professional sabotage, emotional truth, and spiritual survival. It explores the inner and outer forces shaping our mental health, from diagnostic patterns and trauma responses to systemic harm and generational silence. I believe everything is psychological, energetic, and spiritual, and that healing must honor all three. Whether we're naming trauma, confronting injustice, or reclaiming joy, this space holds room for the spectrum of the human and ancestral experience. This blog is rooted in the Black experience, especially the lives, labor and inner worlds of Black women. It honors those who have been silenced, misread, or misunderstood, both within and beyond professional spaces. And while these words speak directly to Black readers, all are welcome, so as long as you arrive with humility, respect, and a willingness to listen without centering yourself. Blackness is not a barrier here. It's a portal. You won't find sugar-coating here. You'll find language for what has been buried. This is not self-help. This is remembrance. And every post is written to be both mirror and medicine.
